Thus consciousness refers to your own unique ability to be aware of your inner thoughts, beliefs, memories, feelings and expectations. This brings me back to the question of how well do you really know yourself? Because surely if you know yourself well you would be able to do anything and everything that you set your mind to do?
The fact is that your subconscious mind is the part that makes your real decisions and choices, not your conscious mind. It has been shown that a scientist watching an MRI scan of a subject's brain activity can actually predict the decision that person is about to make up to six seconds before they actually make that decision consciously.
Your subconscious decisions really do drive and propel your life. If you want to change the decisions that your subconscious mind is making for you, then your conscious mind needs to become more aware of what is going in in your subconscious.
